- RTP-CNRS Réseau thématique pluridisciplinaire « Société en évolution, science sociale en mouvement »

Depuis sa création en janvier 2006, le RTP-CNRS « Société en évolution, Science Sociale en Mouvement » a engagé une réflexion collective sur l’avenir de la sociologie en France. Les travaux du RTP s’articulent autour de cinq thèmes :

• la place de la sociologie française dans le contexte international
• la place de la sociologie par rapport aux autres disciplines
• la place de la théorie en sociologie
• les relations de la sociologie au monde social
• l’enseignement de la sociologie

Ces thématiques ont donné lieu à un travail en commun au sein du RTP et à un ensemble de discussions plus larges, notamment à l’occasion d’un colloque qui s’est tenu à l’abbaye des Vaux de Cernay en juin 2006 et dans le cadre de journées thématiques. Dans l’esprit qui l’anime depuis sa création, le RTP entame un séminaire qui vise à favoriser les échanges entre spécialistes des sciences sociales sur les évolutions actuelles et à venir de la sociologie. Ce séminaire sera organisé sous la forme d’une dizaine de journées et demi-journées thématiques, réparties sur une période de deux ans à partir de septembre 2007.

- Association Internationale de Sociologie (AIS) / International Sociological Association (ISA)
L'AIS a été fondée en 1949, sous les auspices de l'UNESCO. L'Association a pour objet de représenter les sociologues partout dans le monde, sans prendre en considération leur école de pensée, leur approche scientifique ou leur idéologie et de faciliter et de promouvoir la recherche en sociologie à l'échelle internationale.

- European Sociological Association (ESA) (ancien site, utile pour le congrès de Glasgow)
The European Sociological Association (ESA) aims to facilitate sociological research, teaching and communication on European issues, and to give sociology a voice in European affairs.
ESA is an academic association of sociologists and a non-profit Europe-wide association made up of over 700 members. It was established in 1992, following deliberations and consultations among sociologists from a diverse range of countries.
Europe is in the midst of massive changes, including the transformations in east and central Europe and the increasing integration of the European Union. Sociology has much to contribute to European level debates and developments. The ESA has an important role to play in organizing the European debate and setting the agenda.

- Associazione Italiana di Sociologia L'Associazione Italiana di Sociologia, a con scopo di:
a) promuovere gli studi sociologici in Italia;
b) promuovere gli interessi culturali e professionali dei suoi membri;
c) favorire la costituzione ed il coordinamento di strutture istituzionali necessarie per la ricerca sociologica;
d) promuovere la formazione universitaria e post-universitaria degli studiosi di discipline sociologiche;
e) incoraggiare l'incontro e la cooperazione tra questi studiosi, in particolare con l'organizzazione periodica di convegni a carattere nazionale e internazionale;
f) esprimere un codice deontologico della ricerca scientifica in sociologia e curarne l'osservanza.

- Associação Portuguesa de Sociologia Na sua acta estatutária, a Associação Portuguesa de Sociologia (APS) define-se como uma associação sem fins lucrativos, dotada de personalidade jurídica, constituída por tempo indeterminado, e que prossegue os seguintes objectivos:

  • promover o desenvolvimento da Sociologia; 
  • encorajar a investigação e dinamizar a comunicação e o debate científicos; 
  • promover a actividade profissional dos sociólogos; 
  • incentivar e divulgar a análise sociológica da realidade portuguesa; 
  • promover a integração dos sociólogos portugueses na comunidade sociológica internacional; 
  • divulgar junto das instituições e da opinião pública, a natureza e os contributos da sociologia; 
  • favorecer o relacionamento com outras disciplinas.

- Réseau des associations de sociologie de l’Europe et des pays du sud (RESU)

  • Art. 1 – Constitution
    The Associations of Sociology of France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain decide to engage in RESU, /REseau des associations de sociologie de l’Europe/ /et des pays du SUd/ in order to: 1) coordinate part of their internationals activities and programs and 2) promote research projects and institutional collaboration in the field of sociology.
  • Art. 2 – Council
    Each of the four above mentioned Associations is represented by three officers in the Council of RESU. The Council is thus constituted by: § the Presidents of the National Associations of sociology § the Past Presidents of the National Associations of sociology § one Delegate. The Council is the governing body of RESU and includes the above officers as well as the Coordinator. The Council deliberates on the activities of RESU by the majority of votes, and it meets no less than once per year.
  • Art. 3 – Coordination
    The activities of RESU are implemented by a Coordinator who is appointed by the Council. This officer is a member of the Council and shall serve for three years.
  • Art. 4 – Consulting Body
    Officers who have served in the Council and are out-going due to the turn-over in the Presidency of the Associations mentioned in art. 1, constitute a consulting body. Other individual scholars who are interested in the activities of RESU can also be appointed by the Council as members of this consulting body. The consulting body does not have a right to vote.
  • Art. 5 – Amendments
    The present constitution may be amended by the majority of votes of the standing members of the Council.
